Reimagining Tomorrow: Kuwait Youth in STEM 2025

“Reimagining Tomorrow: Kuwait’s Youth in STEM” is a national initiative designed to inspire high school students to address environmental challenges through STEM-based innovation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Program Impact:
- 87 students
- 22 schools across Kuwait
- 12 finalist teams selected after rigorous evaluation
Following a nationwide registration campaign in October 2024, students progressed through a structured innovation journey — from proposal submission to prototype development.
The top 12 teams advanced to a three-month execution phase supported by mentors from leading institutions including:
- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC)
- Lebanese American University (LAU)
- Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC)
- IDRAK
Participants received training in:
- Sustainable engineering
- Technical research
- Public speaking
- Critical thinking
- Environmental problem-solving
The final showcase, hosted at the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre, featured a prototype exhibition judged by experts from bp, Zain, Seeds.co, KIBS, and the Ministry of Education ICT Department.
The initiative received wide media coverage and national institutional support, reinforcing Kuwait’s commitment to sustainability-driven youth empowerment.
